The 16 strand splice is very difficult and you find that
extracting the core is not as simple as a double braid.
the splice is very neat looking when finished , I think
if you never spliced it before you should definetly get Toss'
video , he is a very fine teacher , Good luck if you do
the splice , I think all tree climbers should understand the splices they are
working with.
