Arboriculture-Trainer

Location: St. Paul, MN
Salary: Based on Experience

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Tree climbing experience (3-5 years), extensive knowledge of knots, chainsaw safety, and aerial lift experience preferred
• Valid Driver’s License, Class A CDL-Air preferred
• ISA Certified Arborist®
• Skilled in updated rigging techniques, daily maintenance and operation, strong tree ID skills
• Positive attitude
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills
• A degree in Arboriculture, Urban Forestry, Horticulture, Forestry or related discipline preferred

   

DUTIES:

• Tree climbing, pruning of trees based on ANSI A300 Standards
• Removal of trees using aerial lift trucks, chippers, and use of cranes
• Leader on a daily basis that can model keeping accurate DOT records, equipment maintenance records
• Provide daily climbing coaching to new climbers, directs crew members to prepare work orders and equipment for daily work, makes recommendations regarding purchases of new climbing and arboricultural equipment.
• Provide unmatched customer service
